What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Gold Star's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must provide written notice to Gold Star of the name of the individual who will serve as the store's manager. If the franchisee decides to change the manager, they must give Gold Star prior written notice that includes the identity of the replacement manager.

This requirement ensures that Gold Star is aware of who is responsible for the day-to-day operations of each franchise location. This allows Gold Star to maintain its system standards across all locations.

Furthermore, the franchisee must ensure that any replacement manager completes the necessary training as outlined in Section 2 of the franchise agreement. This helps maintain the quality and consistency of operations across all Gold Star locations. Franchisees should consult Section 2 of the agreement to fully understand the training requirements for replacement managers.
