As of December 31, 2024, Gold Star's training is conducted by Gold Star staff, including our Vice President of Development and Operations. Our current Vice President of Development and Operations has held that role since January of 2023 and came to his position with 25 years of experience providing strategic business consultant services for another well-established franchisor.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Gold Star's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, as of December 31, 2024, Gold Star's training is conducted by Gold Star staff, including the Vice President of Development and Operations. The current Vice President of Development and Operations has held the position since January 2023, bringing 25 years of experience in strategic business consulting for another franchisor.
Gold Star provides initial training programs for new restaurant franchisees and their initial key managers. These programs are scheduled periodically based on the number of prospective franchisees and scheduled restaurant openings. Franchisees or designated managers must complete the training program to Gold Star's satisfaction at least three weeks before the restaurant opens or within six months of signing the Franchise Agreement.
In addition to initial training, Gold Star may offer or require attendance at refresher or additional training programs. These programs' location, duration, and content are determined by Gold Star. While Gold Star does not charge a fee for mandatory additional training programs, franchisees are responsible for all travel, lodging, and meal expenses associated with attending any training programs.
