What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Floyds 99's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Floyds 99 has the right to waive a portion of the initial training program or alter the training schedule if, in its sole discretion, the franchisee or the Principal Manager has sufficient prior experience or training. Floyds 99 also reserves the right to provide training remotely by live video conferencing or other virtual means.
This means that if a prospective Floyds 99 franchisee or their designated Principal Manager already possesses relevant experience or training, Floyds 99 may choose to reduce the length or modify the structure of the standard initial training program. This could potentially save the franchisee time and money by reducing travel and living expenses associated with attending the full training program.
However, the decision to waive any portion of the training program rests solely with Floyds 99. A franchisee cannot demand a waiver, even if they believe they have sufficient experience. It is also important to note that Floyds 99 can choose to deliver the training remotely, which could impact the overall experience and effectiveness of the training.
