What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Floyds 99's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Floyds 99 can modify its standards, specifications, and operating and marketing procedures unilaterally. These modifications, which are detailed in the Operations Manual, can be made under any conditions and to the extent that Floyds 99, in its sole discretion, deems necessary. The purpose of these changes is to protect, promote, or improve the Floyds 99 Marks and the quality of the Licensed Methods. However, such modifications will not be made arbitrarily without such determination.
This means that as a Floyds 99 franchisee, you must adhere to the Operations Manual, which Floyds 99 can change at any time if they believe it is necessary to maintain the brand's reputation and service quality. These changes could affect various aspects of your business, including how you operate, market your services, and maintain the shop's standards.
While Floyds 99 has the right to make these changes, they are expected to do so to protect and improve the brand, not arbitrarily. As a prospective franchisee, it is important to understand that the Operations Manual is subject to change and to factor this into your business planning. It would be prudent to discuss with existing franchisees how Floyds 99 has historically managed changes to its operating procedures and standards.
