What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Floyds 99 Franchise Disclosure Document, a tenant is generally allowed to display its logo on signage at the premises. The lease addendum states that, subject to receiving the required approvals from regulatory bodies, a Floyds 99 tenant is allowed to display its logo on signage at the premises.
This allowance is part of a broader set of signage rights granted to the tenant. These rights also include placing appropriate signage on the entrances to the premises to advertise hours of operation and other information, displaying tasteful signage on sandwich board signs within the areas adjacent to the premises during regular business hours, and projecting the tenant's signature "After Hours" feature on the windows of the premises after business hours on nights it deems commercially reasonable, as permitted by regulatory bodies.
It's important to note that these signage rights are subject to the tenant obtaining the necessary approvals from the relevant regulatory bodies. This means that while Floyds 99 permits the display of the logo and other signage, the franchisee must still comply with local laws and regulations regarding signage. Prospective franchisees should investigate local signage ordinances to understand any restrictions or requirements that may apply to their specific location.
