According to the 2025 Floyds 99 Franchise Disclosure Document, technical training consists of 4 hours of classroom instruction and 12 hours of on-the-job training. The classroom portion of the technical training takes place in Greenwood Village, CO. The on-the-job portion of the technical training takes place at an existing Floyds 99 Barbershop.

Floyds 99 requires that franchisees and their principal manager attend and complete the initial training program to the franchisor's satisfaction. While Floyds 99 does not charge for training two individuals, the franchisee is responsible for covering travel, living expenses, and wages for themselves and their employees during the training period.

In addition to technical training, Floyds 99 also provides pre-opening technical team training and pre-opening front desk & operations training, each consisting of 20 hours of on-the-job training at the franchisee's Floyds 99 Barbershop. This comprehensive training approach ensures that franchisees and their teams are well-prepared to operate their Floyds 99 Barbershop according to the brand's standards and specifications.
