What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Floyds 99 Franchise Disclosure Document, Floyds 99 reserves the right to specify a minimum number of barber chairs at a franchised location. Additionally, Floyds 99 will make available to the franchisee standards and specifications for the franchised location. These standards and specifications include equipment, furniture, fixtures, hair care products offered for sale, hair care products used, inventory policies, employee attire, supplies, forms, and advertising material.
Floyds 99 also retains the right to change these standards and specifications for the franchised location, equipment, furniture, fixtures, inventory policies, hair care products offered for sale and used, employee attire, supplies, forms, and advertising material. However, Floyds 99 will provide a 30 days prior written notice to the franchisee before implementing any changes.
This means that while franchisees have some autonomy in operating their Floyds 99 shop, they must adhere to the franchisor's standards and specifications, which can be modified with 30 days' notice. This ensures consistency across all Floyds 99 locations and protects the brand's image. Prospective franchisees should be prepared to adapt to changes in these standards and specifications throughout the term of their franchise agreement.
