What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Floyds 99 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisor may revoke approval of a supplier with 30 days prior written notice of the reason for revocation. Floyds 99 may inspect any suppliers' facilities and products to assure compliance with the franchisor's standards and specifications. Permission for such inspection is a condition of the continued approval of such supplier.
This means that Floyds 99 franchisees are required to purchase products, equipment, materials, supplies, and services from approved suppliers. If a franchisee wants to use a different supplier, they must request approval from Floyds 99. Floyds 99 can inspect these suppliers to ensure they meet the brand's standards. If a supplier fails to maintain these standards, Floyds 99 can revoke its approval, giving the franchisee 30 days' notice.
This policy ensures that all Floyds 99 locations maintain a consistent level of quality and service. It also protects the brand's reputation by ensuring that all products and services meet Floyds 99's standards. For a potential franchisee, this means they have limited flexibility in choosing suppliers, but it also guarantees a certain level of quality and consistency in their supplies. Franchisees should be aware of these requirements and factor them into their business planning.
