What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Floyds 99 Franchise Disclosure Document, at least one individual must successfully complete the initial training program before the Floyds 99 shop can begin operations. This individual is typically the Franchisee, if the Franchisee is an individual, or the principal owner of the Franchisee entity. If the barbershop is not the first one developed by the Franchisee or an affiliate, the person designated as the Principal Manager must complete the training.
Floyds 99 permits two management-level individuals to attend the initial training program without any tuition or fees. However, the franchisee is responsible for covering all traveling, living, and wage expenses incurred by the franchisee and their employees while attending the training program. Participants in the training program do not receive any compensation from Floyds 99 during their training period.
The initial training program aims to provide comprehensive instruction on Floyds 99's Licensed Methods, trademark protection, and brand consistency across all locations. This ensures that the franchisee and their staff are well-equipped to uphold the brand's standards and deliver consistent service quality. Requiring at least one person to complete the training before opening helps to maintain the integrity of the Floyds 99 brand and operational standards from the outset.
