What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Floyds 99's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisor permits two management-level individuals to attend the initial training program without any tuition or fees. This benefit extends to the franchisee, if the franchisee is an individual, or the principal owner of the franchisee entity. If the barbershop is not the first one developed by the franchisee or an affiliate, the individual designated as the Principal Manager can attend the training program.

However, it is important to note that while the tuition is waived for these two individuals, the franchisee is still responsible for covering all traveling expenses, living expenses, and wages incurred by the attendees during their participation in the training program. Participants also do not receive any compensation from Floyds 99 during the training period.

This initial training program is mandatory for at least one individual before the Floyds 99 shop commences operations. The primary goal of the training is to provide comprehensive instruction on Floyds 99's licensed methods, trademark protection, and ensuring brand consistency across all locations. The program includes approximately 40 hours of classroom training and 7 to 10 days of in-shop training at a location designated by the franchisor.
