What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Floyds 99 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisor has the right to inspect the franchised location to ensure compliance with their standards and specifications. These inspections will occur during regular business hours, and the franchisee has the option to be present. However, Floyds 99 also retains the right to conduct inspections without providing prior notice to the franchisee. This allows Floyds 99 to monitor operations and ensure quality control, adherence to brand standards, and compliance with the Operations Manual.

For a prospective franchisee, this means being prepared for announced or unannounced visits from Floyds 99 representatives during normal business hours. While the franchisee can be present during inspections, the franchisor can also conduct them independently. This highlights the importance of consistently maintaining Floyds 99's standards and specifications, as outlined in the Operations Manual, to avoid any potential issues identified during inspections.

This level of oversight is typical in franchising, as franchisors need to protect their brand and ensure consistency across all locations. The ability to conduct unannounced inspections gives Floyds 99 a direct way to verify that franchisees are adhering to the established operational guidelines and quality standards. Franchisees should view these inspections as a way to receive feedback and support from the franchisor, ultimately helping them to improve their business and maintain the integrity of the Floyds 99 brand.
