What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Floyds 99's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, prior to the opening of a Barbershop, Floyds 99 provides an initial training program. This program is detailed further in Item 11 of the FDD.

The initial training program is mandatory for both the franchisee and their Principal Manager. Floyds 99 covers the training costs for two individuals; however, the franchisee is responsible for covering all travel, living expenses, and wages for themselves and their employees while they attend the training. The training program includes home study, verbal instruction, computerized slides, and on-the-job training at a Floyds 99 shop.

The Floyds 99 initial training program consists of approximately 4 hours of home study, four days of classroom instruction at their headquarters in Greenwood Village, Colorado, and 7 to 10 days of on-the-job training in Barbershops located near their corporate headquarters or another designated location. Franchisees will attend this training after signing the Franchise Agreement and Development Agreement. Additionally, Floyds 99 recommends attending the opening of a new Barbershop, if scheduling allows. Floyds 99 also offers up to five days of follow-up, on-site training and opening assistance at the franchisee's Barbershop around the time of its opening, particularly for franchisees opening their first shop.
