The Franchisee shall comply with this Agreement and the Operations Manual.
In addition to all other obligations contained in this Agreement and in the Operations Manual, the Franchisee shall comply with the following operational obligations.

Quality of Operations.
The Franchisee shall maintain clean, efficient and high quality FLOYD'S 99 Shop operations and shall operate the business in accordance with the Operations Manual and in such a manner as not to detract from or adversely reflect upon the name and reputation of the Franchisor and the goodwill associated with the Floyd's 99 Franchising, LLC name and the Marks.

Compliance with Laws and Good Business Practices.
The Franchisee shall conduct itself and operate its FLOYD'S 99 Shop in compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations and other ordinances, including, without limitation, barbering and cosmetology regulations, health and public safety orders and regulations, barbering and cosmetology licensing laws, music licensing laws, data security laws, privacy laws, and other orders, ordinances and regulations in such a manner so as to promote a good public image in the business community.
In connection therewith, the Franchisee will be solely and fully responsible for obtaining any and all licenses to carry on business at the FLOYD'S 99 Shop.
The Franchisee shall provide the Franchisor with copies of all barbering and cosmetology licenses held by the Franchisee and each of its employees upon request.

According to Floyds 99's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must adhere to specific operational standards to protect the brand's reputation. Floyds 99 franchisees are required to maintain clean, efficient, and high-quality shop operations, following the Operations Manual to avoid detracting from the brand's name and goodwill. Compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws is also mandatory, including barbering and cosmetology regulations, health and public safety orders, licensing laws, music licensing laws, data security laws and privacy laws. Franchisees are responsible for obtaining all necessary licenses to operate their Floyds 99 shop and must provide copies of barbering and cosmetology licenses for themselves and their employees upon request.
To ensure compliance, Floyds 99 has the right to inspect the franchised location during regular business hours, with or without prior notice, to verify adherence to the franchisor's standards and specifications. Franchisees are prohibited from offering or selling any unauthorized products or services. Any proposed new products or services must be submitted to Floyds 99 for approval, and the franchisor may require specifications, information, or samples for review, with the franchisee bearing the costs of investigation.
Furthermore, franchisees must purchase and stock the barbershop with hair care products, merchandise, and related items as determined by Floyds 99, maintaining sufficient inventory levels and product mix to meet client demands. Floyds 99 reserves the right to mandate the purchase of specific brands, including the Floyds 99 brand, from designated suppliers. Franchisees are also required to equip their shops with a point-of-sale system, computer hardware, software, and telecommunications equipment that meet Floyds 99's standards. The point-of-sale system and software must be licensed from Floyds 99 or its designated suppliers, with compatible computer hardware obtained according to the franchisor's specifications.
In addition, Floyds 99 franchisees must avoid actions that could violate anti-terrorism laws. Floyds 99 retains the exclusive right to develop and control the brand. Franchisees cannot use "Floyd's 99" in their legal business name or register related domain names without prior written consent. In advertising, franchisees must clearly identify themselves as a "Floyd's 99 Licensee" or "Floyd's 99 Franchisee". By adhering to these operational covenants and standards, Floyds 99 franchisees can help maintain the brand's reputation and goodwill within the community.
