What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Floyds 99's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must submit proposed written advertising or a description of their marketing or promotional program to Floyds 99 at least 30 days before its intended publication, broadcast, or use. This requirement applies to all forms of advertising and promotional materials, including but not limited to "Yellow Pages" listings, newspaper ads, flyers, brochures, magazines, coupons, direct mail pieces, and radio and television advertisements.

This advance submission allows Floyds 99 to ensure that all advertising aligns with their brand standards and specifications, which Floyds 99 considers an essential aspect of their licensed methods. The approval process also extends to promotional materials provided by vendors, ensuring consistency and quality across all marketing efforts.

This 30-day lead time is a crucial consideration for franchisees as it necessitates careful planning and coordination of marketing campaigns. Failing to adhere to this requirement could result in delays or disapproval of advertising materials, potentially impacting the franchisee's ability to effectively promote their Floyds 99 shop. Franchisees should factor this timeline into their marketing strategies to ensure compliance and maximize the impact of their advertising efforts.
