What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Floyds 99 Franchise Disclosure Document, an existing franchisee in good standing whose Franchise Agreement expires before December 31, 2025, can renew their franchise by executing two documents: a current Franchise Agreement and the Amendment to Floyd's 99 Franchising, LLC Franchise Agreement (Renewal), also known as the "Renewal Amendment". A copy of the Renewal Amendment is included as Exhibit D in the Disclosure Document.

To renew their franchise agreement, a Floyds 99 franchisee must meet certain requirements. If necessary, the franchisee must remodel the premises to comply with the franchisor's current standards and specifications. Additionally, the franchisee must fulfill any other requirements to renew the agreement.

This means that franchisees need to be prepared for potential costs associated with remodeling to meet current brand standards. They should carefully review Exhibit D, the Renewal Amendment, to understand all the terms and conditions of renewal. Franchisees should also confirm that they are in good standing and meet all other obligations outlined in their existing Franchise Agreement to ensure eligibility for renewal.
