Floyds_99 Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
You will select and acquire the location for your FLOYD'S 99 Shop with our assistance. When you have selected a location for your Barbershop within a geographical area that we designate, you must submit specified information to us regarding the location so that we may accept or reject the proposed location. The site for your FLOYD'S 99 Shop (and the site for any future FLOYD'S 99 Shop developed under a Development Agreement) must meet our then-current criteria for the location of a FLOYD'S 99 Shop, including, but not limited to, demographic characteristics, traffic patterns, pedestrian traffic counts, parking, character of neighborhood, ingress and egress to the location, lease terms and rates or purchase terms, and competition from and proximity to other businesses. Our criteria, and our evaluation of them, may vary periodically and from location to location. We will send a representative to your proposed location for on-site assessment before we approve of a location. We will approve or disapprove a proposed site within 45 days after we receive all information that we require to assess the proposed site. Within 270 days of signing the Franchise Agreement, you must find an acceptable site and sign a lease for the location on terms acceptable to us, or we may terminate the Franchise Agreement. Your FLOYD'S 99 Shop may not be relocated without first obtaining our written consent, which consent will not be unreasonably withheld.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 FDD, Floyds 99 provides assistance in selecting a location for the Barbershop. The franchisee is required to submit specific information about their selected location within a designated geographical area for approval or rejection by Floyds 99.
The criteria Floyds 99 uses to evaluate a potential site includes demographic characteristics, traffic patterns, pedestrian traffic counts, parking availability, the character of the neighborhood, ease of access to the location (ingress and egress), lease terms and rates (or purchase terms), and the level of competition from and proximity to other businesses. It is important to note that these criteria and their evaluation may change periodically and can vary from one location to another.
Before Floyds 99 approves a site, a representative will conduct an on-site assessment of the proposed location.
