What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Floyds 99 Franchise Disclosure Document, the 'Scope of Franchise Operations' section outlines the franchisee's obligations and restrictions regarding the operation of their Floyds 99 shop. The franchisee must consistently exert their best efforts to promote and operate the barbershop. A key restriction is that the franchisee cannot engage in any business other than the operation of the Floyds 99 barbershop itself.
The franchisee is required to use the Marks and Licensed Methods, as updated by Floyds 99, to manage all aspects of the franchised business. This includes offering all services and products that Floyds 99 designates. The franchisee is specifically prohibited from offering or selling any services or products that have not received prior written approval from Floyds 99.
Furthermore, the franchisee is restricted from offering the authorized services or distributing the authorized products for nonretail or off-site sale unless Floyds 99 provides written permission. This ensures that the Floyds 99 brand maintains control over its offerings and distribution channels, and that franchisees focus on the core barbershop business model.
