What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Floyds 99 Franchise Disclosure Document, the specific definition of "Anti-Terrorism Laws" is not provided. However, the FDD does state that as a franchisee, you must comply with efforts to adhere to Anti-Terrorism Laws.
The Floyds 99 agreement requires franchisees and their principal shareholders, members, or owners to comply with Anti-Terrorism Laws. Franchisees must also assist Floyds 99 in their efforts to comply with these laws to the fullest extent possible.
Furthermore, franchisees must certify, represent, and warrant that none of their property or interests are subject to being "blocked" under any of the Anti-Terrorism Laws and that neither they nor any of their principals are otherwise in violation of any of the Anti-Terrorism Laws. The agreement also states that the franchisee is solely responsible for understanding what actions they must take to comply with Anti-Terrorism Laws. Any violation of these laws by the franchisee, its principals, or employees can result in immediate termination of the franchise agreement.
