What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Floyds 99's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are generally restricted to selling only those products and services that have been approved by the franchisor. The FDD specifies that franchisees are prohibited from offering or selling any products or services not authorized by Floyds 99 as part of its Licensed Methods. This restriction ensures uniformity and quality control across all franchise locations, protecting the brand's reputation.

If a franchisee wishes to introduce a new product or service, they must first seek written approval from Floyds 99. The franchisor has the discretion to withhold approval for any reason. To evaluate the request, Floyds 99 may require the franchisee to submit specifications, information, or samples of the proposed products or services. The franchisee may also be responsible for covering the costs associated with the franchisor's investigation into whether the new offerings meet their standards.

Floyds 99 also retains the right to modify the approved list of products and services at any time. Franchisees must sell all products and services approved by Floyds 99, including retail items like branded hair care products, caps, T-shirts, and sportswear. While there are restrictions on the goods and services franchisees can offer, there are generally no restrictions on the clients to whom they may sell, provided that each professional employee only provides services they are licensed to provide.
