What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Extreme Art Studio Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must implement changes to System Standards within the timeframe that Extreme Art Studio requests. These changes may include purchasing new operating assets, adding new products and services, updating the computer system, adding personnel, or otherwise modifying operations. The FDD states that these changes are to be implemented as if they were part of the Franchise Agreement from its effective date.

Extreme Art Studio also retains the right to modify System Standards periodically, potentially obligating franchisees to invest additional capital in the Franchised Business or incur higher operating costs. These modifications are designed to preserve or enhance the efficient operation, image, or goodwill of the Extreme Art Studio brand.

For computer system modifications specifically, Extreme Art Studio requires franchisees to implement changes within 30 days of receiving notice. This may involve purchasing, leasing, or licensing new or modified computer hardware or software, and obtaining service and support for the Computer System. Given the dynamic nature of technology, Extreme Art Studio reserves the right to establish reasonable new standards for technology implementation, with franchisees responsible for the associated costs.
