What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Extreme Art Studio Franchise Disclosure Document, the terms of the Extreme Art Rider can vary. Specifically, the current form of the Extreme Art Rider that a franchisee signs for each additional franchise may differ from the Extreme Art Rider included in the initial Franchise Agreement. This means that while the initial agreement sets a baseline, subsequent agreements for additional locations might have altered terms.

This variation in terms is significant for franchisees planning to expand. While the initial franchise fee is waived for additional franchises under an Extreme Art Rider, franchisees must be prepared to accept potentially different conditions in each new Rider. These differences could affect various aspects of the franchise operation, and it is the franchisee's responsibility to understand these changes.

Furthermore, the FDD states that all obligations under the Franchise Agreement apply individually to each Extreme Art Studio Business operated by the franchisee. This reinforces the idea that each location, governed by its specific Extreme Art Rider, operates with its own set of terms and obligations, despite being under the umbrella of the initial Franchise Agreement. Prospective franchisees should carefully review the then-current form of the Extreme Art Rider before signing it for each additional franchise to fully understand their obligations and rights.
