What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Extreme Art Studio's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, there is no tuition or fee for the Initial Training Program for up to two attendees for the first Extreme Art Studio Business, provided they attend training at the same time. However, if a franchisee desires to have additional people attend the Initial Training Program, they will be charged the then-current fee, which is currently $200 per day per additional person.
It is important to note that while the training program itself doesn't have a tuition fee for the initial two attendees, Extreme Art Studio does not cover any travel expenses, lodging, meals, ground transportation, or other personal expenses for anyone attending the Initial Training Program. These costs are the responsibility of the franchisee.
If the franchisee (or their operating owner) or their Designated Manager fails to successfully complete the Initial Training Program, Extreme Art Studio may require the failing attendee to attend additional training programs at the franchisee's sole expense. Alternatively, Extreme Art Studio may require the franchisee to appoint a new operating owner and send that individual to the next available Initial Training Program, also at the franchisee's sole expense. If the Initial Training Program is not completed to Extreme Art Studio's satisfaction after two attempts, they may terminate the Franchise Agreement.
In addition to the Initial Training Program, Extreme Art Studio also provides an On-Site Training Program for the first Extreme Art Studio Business, which includes launch assistance immediately prior to the grand opening and on the day of the grand opening at the Studio location for up to three days. There is no tuition or fee for the On-Site Training Program. Extreme Art Studio also provides up to two additional days of on-site assistance, approximately six months after the Studio's grand opening, at no cost.
