What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Extreme Art Studio's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, you must submit final construction plans and specifications for your Extreme Art Studio Business to the franchisor for approval before beginning construction. Furthermore, you are required to construct the Extreme Art Studio Business in accordance with the approved plans and specifications. This is a standard practice in franchising to ensure brand consistency and adherence to the franchisor's standards.

This requirement ensures that the studio's design and construction meet Extreme Art Studio's standards, which helps maintain uniformity across all franchise locations. This can impact the franchisee by potentially increasing initial costs if the franchisee's plans need adjustments to meet the franchisor's requirements. However, it also benefits the franchisee by ensuring the studio is set up for optimal operation and customer experience, as determined by Extreme Art Studio's experience.

Failure to adhere to these construction standards could result in non-compliance with the franchise agreement, potentially leading to penalties or even termination of the agreement. Therefore, it is crucial for prospective franchisees to work closely with Extreme Art Studio during the construction phase and ensure all plans are approved before starting any work on the studio.
