What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Extreme Art Studio's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, pre-opening obligations include Extreme Art Studio reviewing the lease agreement for the studio. This review ensures that the lease terms contain the required provisions and meet the minimum standards for an Extreme Art Studio Business.

Extreme Art Studio also provides assistance with site selection, site evaluation, and construction project management. Franchisees must obtain written approval from Extreme Art Studio before leasing or purchasing a site. Extreme Art Studio considers factors such as location, size, suitability, layout, access, visibility, proximity to other businesses, competitors, population density, demographics, traffic, tenant mix, and parking convenience.

While Extreme Art Studio consults on the site and requires final authorization, the franchisee has the ultimate responsibility for choosing, obtaining, and developing the site. The franchisee is responsible for conforming the premises to local ordinances and building codes, obtaining required permits, and handling construction, remodeling, and decorating. Extreme Art Studio does not provide assistance for these obligations.

If an agreement on an approved site cannot be reached within four months after signing the Franchise Agreement, Extreme Art Studio has the option to terminate the agreement without a refund. Additionally, if a lease is not secured within six months of signing the Franchise Agreement, Extreme Art Studio can terminate the agreement without providing a refund.
