What representation does each individual executing the Release on behalf of the Franchisee make for Extreme Art Studio?

According to the 2024 Extreme Art Studio Franchise Disclosure Document, each individual or entity that is part of the Releasor (the party giving the release) is jointly and severally liable for the obligations outlined in the release. This means that each person or entity signing the release is fully responsible for fulfilling all the terms and conditions. If one party fails to meet their obligations, the others can be held responsible for the entire amount.

Additionally, the Releasor acknowledges that they have read and fully understand the release. They also confirm that they have had the opportunity to discuss the terms and contents of the release with legal counsel, or that such a discussion has already taken place. This is a standard clause to ensure that the person signing the document is aware of its implications and has had the chance to seek legal advice.

The release is governed by the laws of the state where the Extreme Art Studio Business is located. This means that any disputes related to the release will be interpreted and enforced according to the laws of that specific state. Releasor also agrees to hold in strictest confidence and not disclose, publish, or use the existence of, or any details relating to, this Release to any third party without Franchisor's express written consent, except as required by law. Releasor expressly covenants and agrees not to make any false representation of facts, or to defame, disparage, discredit, or deprecate any of the Released Parties or otherwise communicate with any person or entity in a manner intending to damage any of the Released Parties, their business, or their reputation.
