What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Extreme Art Studio Franchise Disclosure Document, as part of the grand opening marketing program, Extreme Art Studio will provide franchisees with templates for certain promotional and advertising materials.
Prior to implementing the grand opening marketing program, which must take place within approximately four weeks after opening, the franchisee must submit a grand opening marketing strategy for approval. This strategy should include proposed marketing materials and promotions to increase brand exposure in the franchisee's territory. The franchisee is required to spend at least $5,000 on this pre-marketing and grand opening marketing program, which begins approximately one week before the studio opens.
For local advertising, any advertising and promotion conducted by the franchisee must follow Extreme Art Studio's guidelines. Franchisees must submit samples of all advertising, promotional, and marketing materials they develop for the franchised business for approval at least ten days before they intend to use them, if these materials have not been previously approved. If Extreme Art Studio does not approve the materials within five days of receipt, the materials are deemed disapproved, and the franchisee cannot use them.
