Extreme_Art_Studio Franchise · 2024 FDDAnswer from 2024 FDD Document
1.7 MODIFICATION OF SYSTEM. Because complete and detailed uniformity under many varying conditions might not be possible or practical, you acknowledge that we specifically reserve the right and privilege, as we consider being best, in our sole opinion, to vary System Standards (as defined in Section 4.2) for any franchise owner based upon the peculiarities of any condition that we consider important to that franchise owner's successful operation. We may choose not to authorize similar variations or accommodations to you or other franchise owners.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
Based on the 2024 Extreme Art Studio Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisor has the right to modify System Standards for any franchise owner based on conditions they consider important to the franchise's success. This means Extreme Art Studio retains the flexibility to adjust operational standards and requirements, potentially to accommodate specific local conditions or franchisee needs. However, the franchisor is not obligated to offer similar modifications to other franchisees.
This discretion allows Extreme Art Studio to adapt its franchise system to diverse market conditions and individual franchisee circumstances. However, it also introduces an element of uncertainty for franchisees, as the standards applicable to their business may change over time. The franchisor's decision to grant a modification to one franchisee does not guarantee similar treatment for others.
Prospective franchisees should carefully consider the implications of this flexibility. While it could be beneficial if a franchisee encounters unique challenges, it also means that the franchisor has significant control over the System Standards and can alter them at any time. It would be prudent for potential franchisees to discuss with the franchisor the types of modifications that have been granted in the past and the criteria used to evaluate such requests.
