What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Extreme Art Studio's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, if an Operating Owner is replaced at any point during the Franchise Agreement, the replacement Operating Owner must attend and successfully complete the first available Initial Training Program. This requirement ensures that the new Operating Owner is properly trained in the Extreme Art Studio business model and operational procedures.
The franchisee is responsible for covering a training fee for the replacement Operating Owner, as well as all associated costs such as airfare, ground transportation, lodging, meals, and other expenses. The new Operating Owner must complete the Initial Training Program within 30 days after their appointment. Extreme Art Studio must be informed of the identity of the new Operating Owner.
The Initial Training Program for Extreme Art Studio consists of approximately 35 hours of self-study, classroom training, and on-the-job training, conducted over five to ten days. This training is held at Extreme Art Studio's designated training facility in Minneapolis, Minnesota, virtually, at the franchisee's studio, or another location designated by Extreme Art Studio. The franchisee must ensure the replacement Operating Owner completes this training to Extreme Art Studio's satisfaction; failure to do so may result in additional training requirements or even termination of the Franchise Agreement.
