Is a franchisee guaranteed a specific Approved Location for their Extreme Art Studio Business?

According to Extreme Art Studio's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee is not guaranteed a specific Approved Location for their Extreme Art Studio Business. The FDD states that while Extreme Art Studio must authorize the specific location for the studio, the franchisee is solely responsible for selecting each Approved Location and negotiating the lease or purchase terms. The franchisee acknowledges that they are not guaranteed any specific Approved Location and may not be able to obtain their top choice.

Extreme Art Studio may provide assistance with site selection, evaluation, lease review, and construction project management, but the final selection and investigation of the studio's suitability are the franchisee's responsibility. The franchisor's approval of a site only means it meets their current criteria and does not constitute a warranty of the site's suitability or potential.

The Franchise Agreement stipulates that the franchisee and Extreme Art Studio must agree on an Approved Location within four months of signing the agreement. Failure to do so gives Extreme Art Studio the option to terminate the agreement. The franchisee is also responsible for ensuring the studio complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including the ADA and safety requirements.
