What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Extreme Art Studio's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are restricted from independently marketing on the internet or using domain names similar to the brand's marks. Any franchisee website is intended to be accessed only through the Extreme Art Studio's main System Website.

The FDD states that franchisees may not develop, maintain, or authorize any website that mentions their Extreme Art Studio Business or displays any of the brand's marks without prior written approval from Extreme Art Studio. If a franchisee is approved to use a website, including social media, Extreme Art Studio reserves the right to require written approval of the website's initial content and any subsequent updates or modifications. Extreme Art Studio may also develop standardized formats or content for franchisee websites, which franchisees would be required to use.

Extreme Art Studio has the right to review and remove online content on social media, blogs, electronic communications, and other online sites where their trademarks are used. This is to protect the brand's reputation and maintain consistency within the system. Extreme Art Studio can require franchisees to remove questionable content or cease using the brand's marks on such sites altogether.

These policies give Extreme Art Studio significant control over the online presence of its franchisees, ensuring brand consistency and quality control. A prospective franchisee should be aware of these restrictions and be prepared to work within the franchisor's guidelines for online marketing and website development.
