What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Extreme Art Studio's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the site location for the initial Extreme Art Studio Business must satisfy the demographic and location requirements minimally necessary for an Extreme Art Studio Business. Additionally, it must meet Extreme Art Studio's minimum current standards and specifications for the build out, interior design, layout, floor plan, signs, designs, color, and décor. Once these conditions are met, Extreme Art Studio will complete Attachment E-1 or B-1 to specify the approved location.

Extreme Art Studio emphasizes that the franchisee is responsible for selecting the Approved Location and negotiating the lease or purchase terms, even though Extreme Art Studio may offer assistance. The franchisor retains the right to inspect a proposed studio site before granting approval. However, Extreme Art Studio's approval is solely a determination that the site meets their current criteria and does not constitute a warranty of the site's suitability or potential.

Prospective franchisees should be aware that they are not guaranteed any specific Approved Location and may not secure their top choice. The agreement on an Approved Location must be reached within four months of signing the Franchise Agreement. Failure to do so gives Extreme Art Studio the option to terminate the Franchise Agreement. Franchisees must also acknowledge that demographic and other factors can change, affecting the studio's potential, and their site selection should be based on their own independent investigation.
