Will Extreme Art Studio assess compliance with ADA and safety requirements for a proposed Extreme Art Studio location?
Extreme_Art_Studio Franchise · 2024 FDDAnswer from 2024 FDD Document
With respect to each Studio, we will not assess compliance with federal, state or local laws and regulations, including the ADA and safety requirements, as compliance with these laws is your responsibility.
We will approve additional Studios that you propose for the Extreme Art Studio Business if the proposed Studio meets our then-current criteria; provided that we reserve the right to deny approval of an additional Studio if we determine that you are not maximizing the use of your existing Studio.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Extreme Art Studio Franchise Disclosure Document, Extreme Art Studio will not assess if a proposed location complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) or other safety requirements. The FDD states that ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including ADA and safety requirements, is the franchisee's responsibility.
While Extreme Art Studio provides assistance with site selection and may inspect a proposed studio, their approval is solely for their own purposes to determine if the site meets their current criteria. This approval does not constitute any representation or warranty regarding the studio's suitability, and franchisees are advised to conduct their own independent investigation into the location's suitability.
This means that prospective Extreme Art Studio franchisees must independently verify that their chosen location adheres to all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to accessibility and safety. Failure to comply with these regulations could result in legal issues and potential liabilities for the franchisee. It is common practice in franchising for franchisees to bear the responsibility of ensuring their business locations comply with all local, state, and federal regulations.
