What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Extreme Art Studio's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Extreme Art Studio will advise franchisees on necessary pre-opening procedures. Specifically, Extreme Art Studio will assist with inventory ordering of products, equipment, and supplies through their affiliate or other suppliers. They also provide implementation services for the CR Software and the DB Software. This service is part of the pre-opening assistance Extreme Art Studio offers to new franchisees.
Extreme Art Studio provides additional pre-opening support, including consultation on site selection, site evaluation, lease review, and construction project management, as outlined in their Franchise Operations Manual. They will review the franchisee's lease agreement to ensure it meets their minimum standards. Extreme Art Studio also provides specifications for initial and replacement furniture, fixtures, equipment, signs, inventory, and supplies. Additionally, they offer a schematic design review for the Extreme Art Studio Business, requiring franchisees to submit final construction plans for approval.
However, Extreme Art Studio does not provide these services to renewal franchisees and may not provide all services to franchisees purchasing existing Extreme Art Studio Businesses or additional locations under a Standard 2 or Standard 3 Franchise. While Extreme Art Studio consults on the site for the Studio and assists in finding an acceptable location, the franchisee has the ultimate responsibility for choosing, obtaining, and developing the site. The franchisee is responsible for conforming the premises to local ordinances and building codes, obtaining required permits, and handling construction, remodeling, and decorating, without assistance from Extreme Art Studio.
