Under what conditions might Eos Worldwide waive the transfer fee?

Eos_Worldwide Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

We may waive a portion of the Transfer Fee upon a transfer resulting from your death or disability or for transfers to your spouse, child, parent or sibling.

We will also not charge a Transfer Fee for transfers of any existing equity of your Operating Entity to other existing current owners as long as there is no change to the Implementer as a result of such transfer, and the Implementer continues to qualify with each of the conditions set forth in the Franchise Agreement.

Waiving any portion of the Transfer Fee does not limit our rights to approve your transfer.

Transferees cannot provide Implementer Services until they are approved by us, sign our then-current Franchise Agreement and complete Boot Camp and pay the then-current Boot Camp Fee.

The Transfer Fee is intended to cover legal and other administrative expenses to be incurred by us in connection with these transfers.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Eos Worldwide's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisor may waive a portion of the $5,000 transfer fee under specific circumstances. These circumstances include a transfer resulting from the franchisee's death or disability, or for transfers to the franchisee's spouse, child, parent, or sibling.

Eos Worldwide will also not charge a transfer fee for transfers of any existing equity of the franchisee's Operating Entity to other existing current owners. This waiver is conditional, requiring that there be no change to the Implementer as a result of the transfer and that the Implementer continues to meet all qualifications outlined in the Franchise Agreement.

It is important to note that even if Eos Worldwide waives any portion of the transfer fee, they still retain the right to approve or disapprove the transfer. Additionally, transferees are not authorized to provide Implementer Services until they receive approval from Eos Worldwide, sign the then-current Franchise Agreement, complete Boot Camp, and pay the associated Boot Camp Fee. The transfer fee is intended to cover the legal and administrative costs incurred by Eos Worldwide in connection with the transfer process.
