What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Eos Worldwide's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the transfer fee of $5,000 is payable at the time of transfer. This fee is required if a franchisee decides to transfer their franchise to a new owner.
The transfer fee is intended to cover Eos Worldwide's legal and administrative expenses associated with the transfer process. However, Eos Worldwide may waive a portion of the transfer fee under specific circumstances, such as a transfer resulting from the franchisee's death or disability, or transfers to immediate family members like a spouse, child, parent, or sibling. Additionally, no transfer fee is charged for transfers of existing equity within the franchisee's operating entity to other existing owners, provided there is no change to the Implementer and the Implementer continues to meet the qualifications outlined in the Franchise Agreement.
It is important to note that even if a portion of the transfer fee is waived, Eos Worldwide retains the right to approve or disapprove the transfer. Furthermore, the transferee, or the new owner, cannot begin providing Implementer Services until they have been approved by Eos Worldwide, signed the then-current Franchise Agreement, completed Boot Camp, and paid the current Boot Camp Fee. This ensures that the new owner meets Eos Worldwide's standards and is properly trained to operate the franchise.
