What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Eos Worldwide's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a new franchisee must fulfill several obligations before starting operations. The franchisee must furnish Eos Worldwide with certificates of insurance for all required insurance policies. They also need to obtain all Required Licenses, which include licenses required to perform the different types of Services, including, if applicable, performing Services across jurisdictional lines.
Another key requirement is the completion of Boot Camp to Eos Worldwide's satisfaction. This suggests that the franchisee must not only attend but also meet certain performance standards during the training. Additionally, the franchisee must purchase the initial inventory of training binders and other Materials as designated in the Operations Manual, which may be provided in the form of a start-up package.
Finally, the franchisee is obligated to pay in full all amounts due to Eos Worldwide and its affiliates. These pre-commencement obligations must be completed within six months from the Effective Date of the Franchise Agreement. However, Eos Worldwide may reasonably extend the time to commence the operation of the Franchise for a period of up to sixty (60) days if the franchisee is unable to (i) obtain the Required Licenses, (ii) attend Boot Camp, or (iii) otherwise complete all pre-commencement obligations under this Agreement, despite their best efforts and for reasons beyond their reasonable control.
