What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Eos Worldwide Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees have specific responsibilities regarding their personnel's compliance with confidentiality obligations. Eos Worldwide requires franchisees to ensure that all personnel or anyone assisting with services or working on behalf of the franchised business are granted access to the Operations Manual, Client Data, or other Confidential Information strictly on a need-to-know basis.
At Eos Worldwide's request, franchisees must ensure that their personnel sign a confidentiality agreement, in a form that Eos Worldwide requires or approves, before they receive access to confidential information. Franchisees are obligated to maintain copies of all confidentiality agreements signed by their personnel and provide these copies to Eos Worldwide upon request, demonstrating compliance with these requirements. Even with these agreements in place, the franchisee remains responsible for their personnel's compliance with the confidentiality obligations outlined in the agreement.
Furthermore, franchisees are required to promptly notify Eos Worldwide of the names of any personnel or individuals who have access to the Operations Manual or other Confidential Information, as well as any additions or deletions to this access list, in compliance with applicable laws. This ensures that Eos Worldwide maintains an updated record of who has access to sensitive information related to the franchise system. These measures are in place to protect the confidential information and trade secrets of Eos Worldwide and maintain the integrity of the franchise system.
