What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Eos Worldwide's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees will be required to pay software fees to maintain their computer systems. Franchisees must pay any annual, monthly, or other software fees required by Eos Worldwide or its approved suppliers. Eos Worldwide retains the right to change its approved suppliers, including software suppliers, at any time and at its sole discretion.
The initial cost of the Computer System is estimated to be between $2,000 and $10,000, but could be less if the franchisee already owns compliant computer and communications equipment. While a maintenance contract is not required, it is strongly suggested. Franchisees are responsible for keeping their Computer Systems in good repair and for any additions, changes, modifications, substitutions, and/or replacements that Eos Worldwide directs.
In addition to potential software fees, Eos Worldwide may choose to implement a Technology Fee, as detailed in Item 6 of the FDD. Franchisees are also expected to spend between $0 and $1,000 annually on optional or required maintenance, support, upgrading, and updating their computer systems, not including the Technology Fee. If a franchisee defaults on their obligations under the Franchise Agreement, Eos Worldwide may temporarily inhibit their access to EOS-related data within the Computer System until the default is resolved. Eos Worldwide will have independent access to certain software systems, such as EOS One, Practice Management (the CRM), and the email system.
