What This Means (2025 FDD)
The 2025 Eos Worldwide Franchise Disclosure Document does not specify a recommended age for the computer system used in the franchised business. However, it does state that franchisees must upgrade their computer systems and obtain necessary service and support as required due to technological developments.
The FDD indicates that Eos Worldwide does not provide maintenance, repairs, updates, or upgrades for the computer system, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Franchisees are expected to spend between $0 and $1,000 annually on optional or required maintenance, support, upgrading, and updating their computer systems, not including the Technology Fee.
Eos Worldwide also states that it is the franchisee's responsibility to protect themselves from E-Problems by securing their computer systems with measures such as firewalls, password protection, and anti-virus systems, and to provide backup systems. Since the FDD does not specify the age of the computer system, it is important for a prospective franchisee to discuss the computer system requirements with Eos Worldwide to understand the specifications and ensure compatibility with the required software and systems.
