What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Eos Worldwide FDD, neither Eos Worldwide nor its affiliates are obligated to provide franchisees with maintenance repairs, updates, or upgrades for the Computer System. However, Eos Worldwide may assist franchisees in troubleshooting potential issues related to the software at their discretion.
The franchisee is responsible for acquiring, licensing, and using a Computer System that meets Eos Worldwide's specifications, which may be modified from time to time, potentially incurring additional costs for the franchisee. The franchisee is also responsible for upgrading the Computer System and obtaining necessary service and support due to technological developments, risk assessments, or other events.
Eos Worldwide may require specific computer and communications hardware, equipment, components, or software as part of the Computer System or other Required Technology. The franchisee must ensure the Computer System can submit reports, connect with Eos Worldwide's computer system, perform designated functions, operate the most current internet browser, allow Eos Worldwide to review operations, and engage in E-Commerce activities. While franchisees can purchase the Computer System from any supplier unless Eos Worldwide designates a specific or exclusive Approved Supplier, they are responsible for all costs associated with maintaining and upgrading the system to meet Eos Worldwide's requirements.
