What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Eos Worldwide Franchise Disclosure Document, the section regarding contributions and donations can be found on page 108. Specifically, section 10.14 outlines that any contributions or donations made by a franchisee using Eos Worldwide's marks must comply with the policies detailed in the Operations Manual or receive prior written approval from Eos Worldwide.
This policy ensures that all charitable activities align with Eos Worldwide's brand standards and values. It prevents franchisees from engaging in activities that could potentially harm the brand's reputation or create inconsistencies in its public image.
For a prospective franchisee, this means that any local charitable initiatives or donations they wish to undertake using the Eos Worldwide name or marks must first be vetted and approved by the franchisor. This requirement is fairly standard in franchising, as franchisors need to maintain control over brand representation. Franchisees should familiarize themselves with the Operations Manual's policies on contributions and donations and factor in the time required to obtain approval for such activities.
