What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Eos Worldwide's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the computer system is discussed on page 97. Specifically, section (d) on page 97 states that if a franchisee defaults on any material obligations under the Franchise Agreement, Eos Worldwide may temporarily restrict the franchisee's access to all or part of the EOS related data contained within the Computer System or any Required Technology until the default is cured.
Additionally, the FDD states that neither Eos Worldwide nor its affiliates will provide franchisees with any maintenance repairs, updates, or upgrades for their Computer System unless otherwise agreed to in writing. However, Eos Worldwide may assist franchisees in troubleshooting potential issues related to the software at their discretion. Franchisees must also have access to high-speed Wi-Fi to access Eos Worldwide's online systems, such as the online training platform, and are responsible for all costs and expenses associated with this access.
This means that Eos Worldwide franchisees are responsible for maintaining their own computer systems and internet access. Eos Worldwide retains the right to limit a franchisee's access to the computer system if they are in default of their agreement. This is a fairly typical arrangement in franchising, where the franchisee is responsible for providing and maintaining their own equipment and technology, while the franchisor provides the software and online systems necessary to operate the business.
