What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Eos Worldwide's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the trade name, service mark EOS, and other trademarks and intellectual property used in connection with Eos Worldwide franchises are owned by EOS Worldwide, LLC, which is identified as an affiliate of EOS Worldwide Franchising, LLC.
EOS Worldwide Franchising, LLC, the company offering the franchises, does not directly own the EOS trademarks and intellectual property. Instead, it secures the rights to use and sublicense them through a 99-year license agreement with its affiliate, EOS Worldwide, LLC. This arrangement allows Eos Worldwide Franchising, LLC to grant franchisees the right to use the EOS trademarks and intellectual property as part of their franchise operations.
For a prospective franchisee, this means that the right to operate under the EOS brand is dependent on the licensing agreement between Eos Worldwide Franchising, LLC and its affiliate. While the 99-year term provides a long-term assurance, it is important to understand the terms of this agreement and any potential risks associated with it. A potential franchisee should review the agreement to understand the full scope of the licensed rights and any limitations that may exist.
