What This Means (2025 FDD)

EOS OpCo, a Michigan limited liability company formed on June 15, 2018, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of EOS Holdco. EOS OpCo owns the trademarks "Entrepreneurial Operating System", "EOS", and "EOS Implementer" and the Intellectual Property described in Items 13 and 14 below. EOS OpCo plays a central role in the Eos Worldwide franchise system, as it owns the core intellectual property and manages the operational aspects of the business. This includes offering monthly membership subscriptions and training related to the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS). Furthermore, EOS OpCo provides additional educational business resources under different trademarks, indicating a broader scope of business activities beyond just the franchise system.
For a prospective franchisee, understanding the relationship between Eos Worldwide Franchising, LLC (the franchisor), EOS OpCo (the operational affiliate), and EOS Holdco (the parent company) is crucial. It clarifies which entity controls the intellectual property, manages day-to-day operations, and provides support and training. This structure is typical in franchising, where a separate entity often handles the operational aspects to streamline management and protect assets.
