Are leaves of absence for Eos Worldwide franchisees granted automatically?
Eos_Worldwide Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
We currently categorize full-time operating franchisees in three different tiers, "Professional", "Certified" or "Expert". We also have created separate tiers, for EOS Implementers that are transitioning into retirement and would like to remain part of our EOS Implementer Community. Your franchise rights and your rights to qualify for and maintain your tier designation depend on your achieving certain productivity standards, as judged by the number of sessions conducted and your ratings for these sessions. Our evaluation criteria and productivity standards are outlined in our Operations Manual and summarized below, and may change from time to time at our discretion. If an Implementer meets the criteria and elects to upgrade its tier, then we may upgrade an Implementer's tier on a going forward basis, subject to satisfying
the criteria for the upgraded tier. Upgrading a tier is optional. If an Implementer fails to meet the evaluation criteria and productivity standards outlined in the Operations Manual, we may downgrade that Implementer's tier. We also reserve the right to require Remedial Training. If you fail to meet the minimum ratings or minimum productivity standards for the Professional Tier (as defined below) following completion of Remedial Training, we reserve the right to terminate your Franchise Agreement. Implementers may also submit requests to downgrade their tier.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
Based on the 2025 Eos Worldwide Franchise Disclosure Document, it is not possible to determine whether leaves of absence are granted automatically. The document does discuss the criteria for maintaining or downgrading an Implementer's tier, which depends on productivity standards judged by the number of sessions conducted and their ratings.
The FDD states that if an Implementer fails to meet the evaluation criteria and productivity standards outlined in the Operations Manual, Eos Worldwide may downgrade that Implementer's tier and reserves the right to require Remedial Training. If the franchisee fails to meet the minimum ratings or minimum productivity standards for the Professional Tier following completion of Remedial Training, Eos Worldwide reserves the right to terminate the Franchise Agreement. Implementers may also submit requests to downgrade their tier.
To fully understand the policies regarding leaves of absence, a prospective franchisee should inquire directly with Eos Worldwide about the specific procedures and conditions under which a leave of absence may be granted and how it might affect their tier status and franchise agreement.
