What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Eos Worldwide's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Confidential Information encompasses a wide array of proprietary materials and data critical to the operation of the franchise. This includes the Operations Manual, Boot Camp Manual, Implementer Guides, training content, EOS Online Store materials, and Franchise System Standards. These items provide the framework for how an Eos Worldwide franchise should be run, and are thus considered highly confidential.

Furthermore, the definition extends to information related to Eos Worldwide's services and products, methods for operating, managing, developing, performing, or coordinating aspects of the Franchised Business, and recruitment, training, marketing or compensation methods. Client names and lists, referral sources, billing and collection methods, and pricing strategies also fall under this umbrella. This highlights the importance Eos Worldwide places on protecting its business strategies and client relationships.

Financial information, business plans, and data about Eos Worldwide, its affiliates, Approved Suppliers, strategic partners, vendors, employees, and independent contractors are also classified as Confidential Information. The definition is broad, also including "any other information we deem confidential", giving Eos Worldwide considerable discretion in what it considers proprietary. Franchisees are responsible for safeguarding this information and preventing its unauthorized disclosure, both during and after the term of the franchise agreement. This obligation extends to ensuring employees and others with access to the information also maintain its confidentiality, potentially requiring them to sign confidentiality agreements.
