What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Eos Worldwide Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must ensure their Computer System operates the most current version of specific internet browsers. These include Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Apple Safari, or Firefox. This requirement ensures compatibility with Eos Worldwide's systems for reporting, training, virtual sessions, and e-commerce activities.
Maintaining the Computer System and software is the franchisee's responsibility, including any costs associated with upgrades or services. Eos Worldwide may modify the required components of the Computer System from time to time, and franchisees must comply with these changes, potentially incurring additional expenses. The franchisor may offer assistance in troubleshooting software issues but is not obligated to provide maintenance, repairs, updates, or upgrades.
This requirement is typical in franchising, as franchisors need to maintain system-wide compatibility for data collection, communication, and brand consistency. Prospective Eos Worldwide franchisees should factor in the ongoing costs of maintaining and upgrading their computer systems to meet these requirements. Failure to maintain the required technology or defaulting on other obligations could result in restricted access to the Eos Worldwide computer system and related data.
