What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Eos Worldwide Franchise Disclosure Document, if you plan to transfer your franchise, you must notify Eos Worldwide in writing. This notification must include any information that Eos Worldwide may reasonably request to evaluate the planned transfer. Eos Worldwide retains the right to approve all transfers.
This requirement allows Eos Worldwide to ensure that any potential transferee meets their standards for new franchisees. These standards include passing a background check and demonstrating sufficient business experience, aptitude, and financial resources to operate the franchise successfully. By requiring this information, Eos Worldwide aims to maintain the quality and consistency of its franchise system.
As a prospective franchisee, it is important to understand that Eos Worldwide has significant control over who can become a franchisee within their system. You should be prepared to provide comprehensive information about any potential transferee and ensure they meet Eos Worldwide's criteria. Failure to obtain Eos Worldwide's approval for a transfer can result in a breach of the franchise agreement.
