What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Eos Worldwide's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee wants to substitute any Approved Suppliers, Materials, Products, or Services, they must provide written notice to Eos Worldwide. This notification must include sufficient information, samples, and specifications to allow Eos Worldwide to determine if the proposed supplier and/or supplies meet their approved criteria.
Eos Worldwide retains the sole discretion to decide whether to test the proposed substitute suppliers or supplies. If Eos Worldwide agrees to evaluate the proposed substitute, they will provide written notification of approval or disapproval within sixty (60) days from the date they receive the notice, along with all required information and samples.
This process ensures that Eos Worldwide maintains control over its supply chain and brand standards. It allows franchisees to suggest alternatives but ultimately gives Eos Worldwide the final say in approving any changes. This is a fairly standard practice in franchising, where consistency in products and services is crucial for brand reputation and customer experience. Prospective franchisees should be aware of this requirement and factor in the time and effort needed to propose and potentially test alternative suppliers.
