Is an Eos Worldwide franchisee allowed to reproduce Leadership Team Manuals?

Further, this Agreement does not grant you the right and you are expressly prohibited from, unless you receive expressed prior written permission from us:
- (b) Reproducing, copying, translating, replicating, or creating derivative works from any training, instructional, education materials, worksheets, guides, modules, Leadership Team Manuals, videos, books, documents, or other materials used in your Client Sessions or otherwise in any way related to the EOS Franchise System, the Marks or the Intellectual Property ("Materials").
Unless otherwise approved by us in writing and to help preserve the integrity of the EOS Franchise System and our brand reputation and to help ensure brand consistency, you must purchase Leadership Team Manuals, certain designated EOS branded items, other written and bound materials used with Clients during your Sessions, and related products we designate from our EOS Online Store as the sole Approved Supplier.
You are prohibited from reproducing, copying, translating or replicating any Materials (including Leadership Team Manuals) or other copyrighted materials used with Clients during your Sessions or otherwise.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Eos Worldwide Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are generally prohibited from reproducing Leadership Team Manuals. Specifically, unless they receive express prior written permission from Eos Worldwide, franchisees cannot reproduce, copy, translate, replicate, or create derivative works from any training, instructional, education materials, worksheets, guides, modules, Leadership Team Manuals, videos, books, documents, or other materials used in Client Sessions or otherwise related to the Eos Worldwide Franchise System. This restriction is in place to protect Eos Worldwide's intellectual property and maintain consistency across the franchise system.
To further preserve the integrity of the Eos Worldwide Franchise System and brand reputation, franchisees must purchase Leadership Team Manuals and other written materials used with clients during sessions from the EOS Online Store, which is the sole Approved Supplier, unless otherwise approved in writing by Eos Worldwide. This requirement ensures that all franchisees are using the same, approved materials, which helps maintain a consistent brand image and service quality.
While franchisees are restricted from reproducing Leadership Team Manuals and other copyrighted materials, they can purchase other products, services, signs, supplies, fixtures, inventory, tools, and books from vendors or suppliers of their choice, provided these items meet or exceed the Franchise System Standards. If a franchisee wishes to substitute any Approved Suppliers or Materials, Products, or Services, they must notify Eos Worldwide in writing and submit sufficient information and samples for evaluation. Eos Worldwide has the sole discretion to test these proposed substitutes and will provide written notification of approval or disapproval within 60 days of receiving all necessary information.
